Prevention & Regeneration
All athletes, whether professionals or amateurs, know how important recovery after training is for muscles, ligaments, and tendons. Whether through massages, cooling agents, or pain- and inflammation-relieving applications, recovery is essential. Only then can muscles, tendons, and ligaments be prepared for new training stimuli and recover quickly.
Why is this not yet common in the equine world?
It doesn't matter if a horse is being retrained, is in regular training, or is overexerted in certain body areas. Horses also experience muscle soreness and need regeneration for their musculoskeletal system.
However, products like pine needle oil, clay, fangotherapy, menthol, or cayenne pepper, which are commonly used in human care, are often too harsh for horses' skin, are made from inorganic materials, or are even doping-relevant in equestrian competitions!
That’s why we decided to include Moor brine in our program. Below, we explain the differences between the available regeneration products for horses on the market:
Moor:
-
Contains humic acids and other organic substances.
-
These organic components are easily absorbed by the body.
-
Effect: Anti-inflammatory, supports healing processes.
-
Humic acids can be absorbed through the skin and exert their healing effects directly on the tissue.
Fango:
-
Has a volcanic origin and is primarily composed of inorganic minerals.
-
Effect: The heat effect is the main action, not a chemical effect.
-
Contains no anti-inflammatory substances and is not absorbed by the body.
Heilerde and Zeolite:
-
Also made from inorganic minerals.
-
Do not have anti-inflammatory effects from organic substances.
-
Work physically: Heilerde, for example, works through absorption, and Zeolite through detoxification.
-
Cannot be absorbed through the skin.
An additional advantage is that Moor brine is colorless, allowing it to be applied without being visible or leaving stains.
Summary:
-
Moor works through the organic humic acids it contains, which are anti-inflammatory and can be absorbed by the body.
-
Fango, Heilerde, and Zeolite work mainly through physical effects (e.g., heat or absorption), without any anti-inflammatory action or absorption through the skin.
Especially when used before training, the humic acid in Moor improves blood circulation to the muscles. The warm-up phase is optimized, which helps prevent tendon and ligament discomfort, muscle tension, and joint pain.

Application:
-
Apply the Moor brine to the coat and massage it in.
-
After application, with or without temperature, the Moor brine should not be washed off. The valuable active ingredients should remain on the body as long as possible.
-
Use 1-2 times daily.
